This site has been online since the early 2000s, first as the home of a professional dominatrix working in Germany and later as a small magazine about female domination and fetish culture. Our readers are adults who take the subject seriously: people who practise female-led relationships, session clients who want to behave well, professionals who work in domination and fetish, and the curious who want honest information rather than fantasy. If you know this world from the inside and can write about it with intelligence and taste, this write for us page tells you how to reach us.

What we publish

• Femdom and fetish culture: history, etiquette, protocol, and the difference between the scene as lived and the scene as sold.
• Professional domination as work: sessions, screening, boundaries, pricing, studios and dungeons, and the business side nobody explains to beginners.
• Wellbeing and safety: consent, negotiation, aftercare, physical and mental health for professionals and for clients.
• Dating and companionship: female-led relationships, meeting people who share your interests, and how to talk about kink with a partner.
• Adult industry news: platform and payment policy changes, legal rulings in Germany and the EU, and events that affect fetish professionals.
• Nightlife and travel: fetish clubs and parties, European cities worth visiting for the scene, and how to travel discreetly.

Guest posts and sponsored articles

We take two kinds of contributed writing. A guest post is an unpaid editorial piece we publish because our readers will value it. A sponsored post is a paid placement for a business that wants to reach an adult fetish audience: studios, dungeons, latex and fetish fashion houses, photographers, event promoters, adult-friendly payment and hosting providers, and similar. Sponsored articles carry a disclosure line where one is required, and they are held to the same editorial standard as everything else.

Link policy, stated plainly: links placed in the editorial body of a published article are permanent, indexed and dofollow. We do not delete articles later, we do not change links after publication, and contributed pieces are not hidden behind a paywall or a noindex tag. One or two relevant links per piece is normal. Pricing for sponsored placements is available on request: tell us the topic and the site you want to link to and we will send a quote. Typical turnaround from accepted draft to live page is three to five working days.

Guidelines

Our contributor guidelines are brief. Please read them before you pitch.

• Original work only. Not published anywhere else, including your own site, and not spun, translated from another article, or padded by software. We check.
• Length: 800 words or more. This is a subject that rewards depth.
• Adult industry topics are accepted, within limits. Femdom, fetish, professional domination and the businesses around them are all fine. We do not publish explicit descriptions, anything that promotes or describes illegal activity, or anything involving a person under 18. Gambling and pharmaceutical content is not accepted, sponsored or otherwise.
• Language: English or German. We edit in both.
• Links: one or two relevant links to reputable sites. No link farms, no affiliate-only pages, no sites we would not send our own readers to.
• Author bio is optional. A scene name is fine. Two sentences at most, and we never publish personal details you have not offered.
• We edit for house style. Every piece goes through our editor for clarity, tone and legal sense. If the changes are more than cosmetic we will tell you before publication.
• 18+. Everything on this site is written for adults. Contributors must be over 18, and content must suit an adult audience without being explicit.

How to pitch

Email a short pitch, two or three sentences on the angle and why our readers need it, plus a link to something you have written before, to guestpost@lady-joanne.com. Use the subject line "Guest post: <topic>". A complete draft is welcome but not required. If you are asking about a sponsored post, say so in the first line and include the site you want to link to. We reply within a few working days, and a no is a quick no.
